The Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB or Bordeaux Wine Council), founded in 1948, represents the three families of the Bordeaux wine industry: winegrowers, wine merchants and brokers.

CIVB selected wines are sold in the Bar-a-Vins in Bordeaux, used at the Bordeaux wine school and promotional events.

The Claribès Rosé selected by the CIVB is made from 100% Merlot, picked by hand from vines immediately behind the Château. These vines are in conversion to “Agriculture Biologique”.

The Rosé is made in the same style as a dry white wine using cold fermentaion and short skin contact, this results in a wonderful freshness and Raspberry pink colour.

The wine is available direct from the Château and our UK wine shop
