Located high above a limestone valley south of the Dordogne river, half way between St Emilion and Monbazillac, the beautiful countryside is classified as Cote de Bordeaux.
The red grape varieties we grow are typical in the Bordeaux region, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. These varieties harmonise with the soil and climate conditions of Bordeaux, each bringing a unique character to the final wine blend.
White wine is made from our half hectare vineyard of Sauvignon Blanc grapes. These grapes produce a superb fresh, clean, dry white wine.
Our sustainable approach to working the vineyards means that much of the work is carried out by hand, organic fertilisers are used, indigenous plants are encouraged to grow between the rows of vines and the lunar cycle determines when we carry out key activities including the harvest.
Low yield techniques improve the health of the grapes, intensifying their flavour, aroma and colour.
We have introduced modern methods of canopy and foliage management, raising the canopy height on most of the vineyard, to improve photosynthesis and ripening of the grapes.
